Meet Adrian: The Kind of Person Who Makes Illumicast Better

When you hire a company to work on your home, the product matters. The workmanship matters. But so do the people who show up at your door.

At Illumicast, Adrian is one of those people who makes a difference.

As our project manager, Adrian has become an important part of the Illumicast team. He brings years of varied construction experience to the job, is highly skilled at what he does, and cares deeply about making sure each project is completed correctly.

But there’s another quality our customers notice again and again: Adrian is kind.

Experience You Can Feel on Installation Day

Installing an egress window well involves a lot more than digging a hole and putting in a window. Our crews work around foundations, concrete, landscaping, finished basements, utilities, drainage and many other details that have to be handled correctly.

Adrian's broad construction background gives him the experience to understand the entire project, anticipate problems and make sure the work is done right.

For a homeowner, that translates into something simple: confidence.

You shouldn't have to supervise the people working on your home or wonder whether an important step was missed. Adrian knows what needs to happen and works with the rest of the crew to keep the installation moving efficiently.

One customer described watching Adrian and the crew install two egress windows as almost like watching a choreographed dance. The team arrived when promised, completed the project on schedule and impressed both the homeowner and the neighbors with their professionalism and efficiency.

That kind of smooth installation doesn't happen accidentally. It comes from having experienced people who know their jobs and work well together.

He Wants the Customer to Be Happy

Technical skill is important, but Adrian also keeps the homeowner in mind throughout the project.

He's conscious of making sure customers are pleased with the work and that the finished job meets Illumicast's standards. That means answering questions, communicating about what's happening and paying attention to the details that affect the homeowner's experience.

One Wichita customer, Andy Williamson, worked closely with Adrian after a previous contractor's egress window installation had resulted in repeated basement flooding.

After that experience, communication mattered a lot.

Andy found Adrian easy to reach and focused on making sure his family was taken care of. That helped restore confidence before, during and after the new installation.

Doing the Right Thing When Something Goes Wrong

Even experienced crews occasionally encounter a problem. What happens next tells you a lot about the company you're working with.

During the Williamson installation, an exterior pane of glass was accidentally broken.

Adrian noticed it and immediately told Andy what had happened—even though Andy said he probably wouldn't have noticed it himself. Adrian apologized, and Illumicast arranged for a local glass company to replace the pane at no cost to the customer.

That's the kind of ownership we want our team to demonstrate.

Doing excellent work doesn't mean pretending mistakes never happen. It means being honest when they do and making them right.

Kindness Matters, Too

Wes has received plenty of compliments over the years about Illumicast's workmanship, but one of the comments he hears surprisingly often about Adrian is simply that he's kind.

Adrian is relational. He treats homeowners like people rather than another job on the schedule.

That may sound like a small thing, but when a construction crew is spending the day cutting into the foundation of your home, it isn't small at all.

Our crews are working on someone's property, around someone's family and often inside someone's home. Being respectful, approachable and considerate is part of doing the job well.

It's also an important part of the mission behind Illumicast:

Bring Life and Light with excellence because we value people and their property.

Thank You, Adrian

Illumicast's window wells may be made from concrete, but ultimately our reputation is built by people.

People who know their craft.

People who care about getting the details right.

People who communicate with homeowners.

People who take responsibility.

And people who treat customers with kindness and respect.

Adrian consistently brings those qualities to Illumicast, and we're grateful to have him on our team.

So if Adrian happens to be leading the crew that pulls into your driveway on installation day, you'll be in good hands.
