We have an annual tradition of giving away a completely free egress window well installation to a deserving foster care or adoptive family in Central or South Central Kansas.
We care deeply about foster care and adoption. Wes Miller, the owner and founder of our company along with his wife Denise adopted three wonderful children.
Quality foster care is vital for the well being of children who cannot remain with their biological parents. It's a sacrificial labor of love, and a cause we as a company want to support.
Since November is National Adoption Month, we normally accept applications until the end of November. The application is pretty straightforward.
We ask families to briefly tell us their fostering story, and then describe how a basement egress window well would help their family.
The winner is randomly selected from the top entries.
Last year we did it a bit differently. An adoptive family who experienced a house fire requested a quote for a new egress window well. After hearing their story, we decided to gift them the window well, instead of opening it up for applications.
This year we are going to take applications as we normally do.
While we can’t give all foster care families a free window well, we do offer a 12% discount for any foster care family that purchases an egress window well. That discount is available all year long.
