Window well covers are really important for several reasons. Not only do they help to keep out rain water, tree leaves, and toads, but as a safety precaution it helps keep children from falling into a window well and getting injured.

The Standard Illumicast Window Well Cover
Our standard cover is designed and built specifically for our window well system. It features a clear polycarbonate design which lets in lots of light. Additionally, the polycarbonate material is strong and durable, exactly the qualities you want in a window well cover.

The polycarbonate is reinforced with an aluminum frame, a metal known for its strength and lightweight properties. The average adult can stand on the cover without breaking it.

The cover features a multi-purpose rod on the inside. In the closed position, it locks the cover shut, preventing kids or pets from opening the cover from the outside. In the open position, the rod serves as a brace, propping the cover open while you exit the window well.

In terms of bang for your buck, we think the Illumicast standard cover is unbeatable.

Optional Upgrades
For clients who prefer a different look, we also offer window well covers from Lorac and Lustercraft.

Lorac Window Well Covers
Lorac has a window well cover with multiple doors, hinged to the center, rather than the back of the cover. Lorac offers color choices for the powder coated metal exterior and options for different polycarbonate colors. The standard polycarbonate is translucent.

Lustercraft Window Well Covers
The Lustercraft cover has a bronze colored aluminum frame and has insulative triple-wall polycarbonate glazing that is translucent. An interior lock adds security and lift pistons hold the frame open nicely.
